Q1. What first attracted you to Soul Music, is this relevant today?
The passion, feeling and ‘soul’ of the tracks I heard, including the first recordings from Motown and Stax to reach the UK, early 1960s. Yes, there are still recordings that contain similar elements of music and performance.
