Alan's great love of soul music began in 1980, enjoying the likes of Earth Wind and Fire, Philly soul and Jazz Funk. Robbie Vincent was a huge influence during the 80's with his sunday evening show. This inspired Alan to DJ at various clubs in South Wales during the eighties & nineties and become involved with the House scene during the late eighties, doing a couple of residencies and guest spots throughout Wales and South England.
Alan has been married to SoulSista Carolanne since 1985 and they have a grown up son Steven.
