RAJ SELLI
Raj's obsession with Soul music dates back to 1982 when he discovered JFM Radio, having listened to the legendary Soul Spectrum for years filling the gaps that had been left by other pirates such as Horizon, Invicta, LWR, Parkside and the original Solar.
He graduated in 1989 and was on a mission to find all the records from the 1970's and 1980's that had moved him so much over the years. For the next six years he spent his time collecting these gems from dealers, record fairs and record shops in London.
Work commitments took Raj to Florida in 1995 and while in the USA was fortunate to meet luminaries such as Najee, Phill Perry, Marion Meadows, John Lucien, Lonnie Liston Smith and George Duke.
His journey brought him back to the UK in 2000 with the renaissance of Solar
